AI Yourself: The Expert Guide

Expert techniques for structuring, formatting, and defining your data and Brain to create a high accuracy, premium AI Yourself.

Updated over 5 months ago

The power of AI Yourself is its ability to become you. This guide will show you how to give your digital twin a perfect memory and an authentic voice, transforming your knowledge into a powerful extension of your own brain.

This in-depth guide will show you how to structure, upload, and fine-tune your data to create a high-performance, personalized intelligence—your very own AI Brain.

Phase 1: Giving Your AI a Perfect Memory (Knowledge Foundation)

The goal is to provide your AI with a library of your knowledge in short, focused documents. This minimizes confusion and ensures your digital twin can recall information with maximum accuracy.

Supported Knowledge Formats

Your AI Yourself is optimized to ingest and process common file types for seamless knowledge transfer into your AI Brain:

Icon

Format

Text Files (.txt)

Excellent for clean, short, topic-focused content. The cleanest input for the AI.

PDF Documents (.pdf)

Ideal for formal documents like policies, contracts, or structured reports. Ensure the text is machine readable (not just a scan of an image).

Word Documents (.doc/.docx)

Perfect for existing manuals and guides. The AI leverages the internal structure (headings and lists) for context.

Best Practices for Data Formatting

The AI processes your documents by breaking them into small chunks of memory. Help it succeed by making these chunks as meaningful as possible.

Principle

Detail

Why it Works

Keep it Short

Limit documents to one main topic. Split "Shipping Policy" and "Returns Process" into two files.

Smaller documents reduce "noise" and increase the chance the AI retrieves only the most relevant piece of information.

Use Clear Headers

Use consistent headings (e.g., bolded titles). Structure documents logically with major topics followed by sub topics.

Headers act as signposts that help the AI understand the hierarchy and context of the text that follows.

Embrace Lists

Use numbered or bulleted lists for steps, procedures, or features.

Lists are easily chunked, and the clear structure helps the AI summarize and extract step-by-step instructions perfectly.

Write for Clarity

Use clear, concise sentences. Avoid long rambling paragraphs or company-specific jargon not explained in the document.

Simple language reduces ambiguity, ensuring the AI interprets the meaning correctly and answers accurately.

Add FAQs

Create a separate document or a section at the end of a policy with Question and Answer pairs.

Q&A formatting is the most direct way to train the AI to answer common user queries.

Phase 2: Organize Your Thoughts with AI (Pre-Upload Data Structuring)

Don't manually clean and organize massive documents. Use the AI you already have access to (AI1/JT1) to structure your messy data into a clean, optimized format before you upload it to your digital twin's brain.

Essential AI Commands for Structuring

Follow these steps using the chat interface: Paste the Content, then Issue the Command.

Purpose

Recommended AI Command

Why it Works

Universal Structuring (Text)

"Analyze the pasted text and convert it into a clean, structured format suitable for ingestion into an AI-powered knowledge base. Break content into atomic facts, apply bold headings per concept, remove filler, standardize formatting (USD, dates, etc.), and apply intelligent tags for themes or products."

Ensures all raw text is transformed into a modular, searchable, AI-optimized format with maximum clarity and tagging.

Atomic Fact Indexing

"Take the content above and apply the Atomic Fact Headings method: Break every single idea into a separate, concise, fact-based statement with a bold title. Output must be ready for Knowledge Base ingestion."

Makes each idea distinct, easy to index, and retrievable by AI systems through atomic data structuring.

FAQ Generation

"Based only on the content provided, generate a list of 15 frequently asked questions with concise answers. Format as Q: A: pairs."

Transforms policies or guides into high-impact, ready-to-use chatbot responses in a proven Q&A format.

Cleaning & Tagging

"Review the above content. Remove conversational filler, standardize currency to USD, and tag each section with relevant product names, departments, or regions."

Removes noise, maintains consistency, and adds a semantic layer of metadata that improves context recognition.

Summary + Detail Layering

"Summarize the key points from the content above, then provide a structured breakdown of the full details beneath it in atomic fact format."

Offers both a high-level overview for quick reference and granular data for deep AI indexing.

Phase 3: Teaching It To Be You (Defining the AI Brain Blueprint)

This step is the "secret sauce" that determines how your AI sounds, what it prioritizes, and how it acts. You define this blueprint in the Name/Description field when you create your Knowledge Base.

How to Write Your AI’s Blueprint Command

Your command should include three key elements: Role, Tone, and Constraints.

Element

What to Include

Example Command Snippet

Your Brain (The Role):

Define its job title, expertise, and goals.

"You are 'Support Agent Alpha' a senior Customer Service Representative. Your primary goal is to resolve issues and guide customers to policy documents."

Your Voice (The Tone):

Define its personality and emotional output.

"Maintain a friendly, empathetic, and professional tone. Always be concise and avoid using slang."

Your Principles (The Rules):

Define what it must do and what it must not do.

"You must always reference the source document for every answer. Do not offer legal advice, discounts, or make exceptions to company policy."

Export to Sheets

Full Example Brain: "You are 'The Compliance Officer' an expert on all internal HR and Legal policies. Your tone must be formal, confident and highly accurate. Always cite the exact policy name from the document. Never speculate or provide an answer if the data is not 100% available in the uploaded documents."

Phase 4: The First Step - Create Your Knowledge Base (Upload & Refinement)

This is where your digital twin is born. With your structured documents (from Phase 2) and your blueprint command (from Phase 3) ready, follow these steps to upload its brain.

Step-by-Step Upload Workflow

  1. Navigate: Click the AI Yourself icon on your dashboard.

  2. Create: Select "Create knowledge base" and enter your desired Name. Paste your Full Example Brain command into the Description field.

  3. Attach: In the "Knowledge Bases" section, click the "Upload documents" icon. Drag and drop your curated, structured files (PDF, TXT, Word).

  4. Ingest: The system converts your files into the AI's knowledge format, completing the upload of your AI Brain.

Test and Refine

After uploading, you must test the AI Brain's performance and fine-tune the source material to guarantee accuracy.

  • Test and Iterate: After receiving your first results, use the Adjust Input data step. If the AI is giving a long answer for a simple question, go back and shorten the relevant section of your source document. The AI learns from these refinements.

By consistently applying this pre-upload data structuring, you ensure the files you submit to your AI Yourself Knowledge Base are perfectly optimized. This final step is the bridge between data convenience and AI precision, guaranteeing that your premium add-on immediately translates into the reliable, high-quality expertise your business needs to succeed.
